I am a married mom of 2 who is trying to get control of her finances! My husband and I have good jobs along with a big mortgage. We are also loaded down with credit card debt that we are slowly but surely getting rid of. I am hoping this blog will keep me on track!

Get the girls passports by February (use tax return to pay for them)*my husband has a job where on a moments notice he may fly to Europe or Israel. Several times his company has offered to pay for me and the girls to go along. I was able to visit Belgium but the girls couldn't, so these passports are not because we are planning a luxury vacation...just if a free one becomes available.

These are very tentative goals. Just some basic ideas to think about. Will know more by January 1st 2009
